Advantage Properties Chicago, INC. was founded in 2003 to serve the real estate and management needs of discerning investors in the Chicago area. From the beginning, we were dedicated to providing the highest quality services we could for our clients. Since opening for business, we have grown to become a respected real estate and rental management company in Chicago and beyond.

Our company provides a full range of real estate, investment, and management services. We work with a wide variety of clients, ranging from first-time buyers, sellers, and investors, to experienced veterans who have very specific requirements. With more than 30 years’ experience in the Real Estate industry, Neal specializes in client relations, with a special focus in Real Estate Property management.

    Matt Shamis is the managing principal for Advantage Properties Chicago, Inc. Matt has extensive knowledge and background in the Real Estate industry with a focus in Brokerage and rental Property Management specializing in the Chicago metropolitan market. Matt helps represent both individual client needs along with investment groups looking for opportunities.


    Matt graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania majoring in Real Estate, with a concentration in finance from the Rauch School of Business. Matt played Division I college basketball and was part of a team that went to the NCAA national tournament in 2010. After college, Matt played professional basketball overseas in Israel for three years.
